Here are some examples of posters and flyers I've designed for shows at the Edinburgh Festival. As someone who has taken two solo shows up to the fringe and performed in over 18 Edinburgh festivals, I understand how punchy your poster needs to be to get the message across when it sits on the wall next to dozens of other posters. A poster for a fringe show needs to do the job quickly no matter how clever or accessible the show, this goes for theatre as well as comedy.
The design needs to retain the attention of your audience by describing your attitude, and style and showing in a way that is unique to you and has more impact than average photography.
From 'One man Lord of the Rings' to 'The Totally Improvised Musical', I've designed dozens of posters for festival shows, capturing the story and the style of the production.
